Been awhile since I've posted on here, but always learn a lot from lurking, and have gotten good recommendations in the past.  I'm the proud owner of a new CZ 452 Ultra Lux that I bought primarily for open sight shooting since it has such a great sight radius.  However, past 50 yards is a bit of a challenge for my eyesight, even corrected.  Looking for a ring/scope recommendation that would allow me to use my iron sights for shorter distances, and a scope for longer distances up to 100 yards or so.  Paper punching and small group chasing would be the primary objective.  Would like to come in under $100 on the scope if possible.  Any thoughts?  Thanks in advance.

If you want a see-thru scope mount, the best way to do it is to convert the 11mm dovetails mounts on the 452 to a weaver/picatinny rail.  Something like this: http://swfa.com/EGW-HD-Picatinny-Rail-1-Piece-Scope-Mount-P45940.aspx

Then you can mount your see thru rings onto the rail with something like this: http://swfa.com/Leupold-Rifleman-Detachable-See-Thru-Rings-P2719.aspx

If you want to go cheap, millett makes a set of see-thru rings for a 3/8" dovetail, and they should fit on your 11mm dovetails.

I tried the see-thru sights on my 452, and didn't like the setup. The scope was too high, and it was kind of awkward using the open sights.

I love my 452, it's a great shooting rifle. You need optics to fully harness the accuracy of this rifle. I would recommend a fixed 6x with AO.

Is your budget $100 for rings and scope? Personally I would skip the see through rings, makes consistent cheek weld difficult. Trying to stay close to your budget you could get the Nikon Prostaff 3-9x40 rim fire from SWFA for $106.95 and the Warne .22 fixed 1" rings for $27.95. I have the Weaver 3-9x32 Classic Rimfire on my Savage and think it is a great scope, can see 22 holes at 100 yards with it.

Maybe I should skip the see-thru rings idea and look at something in a quick detach mount.  Just noticed the the BSA 6-18x40AO that SWFA has a promotional offer on.  Does anyone have personal experience with this scope?  Probably more zoom than I would use, but the price is interesting.  I realized you get what you pay for.  I'm not going to be shooting in low light situations or putting my life on the line with this scope.  Just looking for a nice setup to have fun with.  Most of my shooting will be at shorter ranges with the iron sights.  Not sure what ring height I need as some have stated a problem with the scope interferring with the bolt on the CZ.  Appreciate the replies so far.

Scope mounting height will depend on what scope you get. A longer scope will need a higher mount to keep it from touching your rear sight.

If you want to go Picatinny rail I have also seen a few shooters using this:

See if your CZ 452 is 3/8 or 11mm dovetail on the chart at the top of the link below then look for the rail size 11mm or 3/8" and the length...

FYI I am not aware of any CZ rimfire that is not 11mm. Also if you use Warne rings the dimple for 11mm goes down and right. Up and left is for 3/8 dovetail.

Apparently CZ is putting a 3/8" dovetail mount on their "American" model.  Check out the specks:

http://cz-usa.com/product/cz-452-american-22-lr-5-rd-mag-left-hand/

SWFA  has a picatinny rail for the 3/8" model, not the 11mm models. Too bad they don't offer this in 11mm.

http://swfa.com/EGW-HD-Picatinny-Rail-1-Piece-Scope-Mount-P45940.aspx

There are some weaver bases available that will slide onto the 11mm- 60 degree CZ mounts. The only place I can find the ones I used (2 piece) is on Ebay. This is what I used on my 452, and it allows a multitude of options for rings.

I ended up going with the BKL 257H rings.  They work on the 3/8" and 11mm base.  Mine is 11mm.  One of the interesting benefits is that I can still use the iron sights through the slot cut in the rings.  Not sure if that is true of the shorter rings.  Right now I have an old Centerpoint 4-16x40 stuck on there and have no problems with the bolt clearing the scope, or with the scope interfering with the rear iron sight.  Will likely play with this combo until I can afford a better scope.  This one is actually pretty good to about 10x.  I thought the high rings would make getting a good cheek weld difficult, but shooting from a bench has not been an issue.  Might try a padded riser on the stock for offhand shooting.  Really appreciate the input.
