I can't get my hands on one of these locally... Just wondering if anybody has one and could tell me about it Big Smile  I'm looking for a scope for my Air Arms S400.  It needs to have an adjustable objective that will focus at a very close range such as 10-20 yds.

1. I notice the Weaver 4-16x42 has a pretty short eye relief, and I'm wondering if it has a big huge view.  I'm not a fan of the scopes that look like you are looking through a pipe (lots of black edge and small picture).  I've noticed that the scopes with short eye relief usually have the biggest view.
2. Also I'm wondering about the Weaver ballistic reticle. Is the fine part very fine or is it thick?? I prefer the thin reticles such as the Zeiss Conquest Z-plex and Kahles Plex. Not concerned with the thickness of the outer (thicker) part of the reticle, just the inner part where it crosses.
3. I'd like to know the diameter of the front bell, maybe someone has some calipers and could measure, I can't find it in the specs....
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!Excellent
