My Crossfire has been on backorder for several months now.  Does anyone have an update on the backorder clearing for these scopes at SWFA?  I have an AR project that is at the point of needing the optics.

I also called Vortex.  They did not have a status of shipment of these to their facility and only said that they were still backordered to SWFA.

Apparently, this is an exclusive product to SWFA.  Can't wait to get my hands on it!

Thanks!

Pretty sure they are still waiting on them.  It should be soon but ain't no guarantees.  The delivery date ESTIMATE is april/may so sometime this month hopefully!  Of course a call to SWFA may give you a better ideal.

We are expecting those Crossfire scopes in any day now. All backorders will be shipped out same day as we receive them.

For any of you waiting for one of these scopes, it is worth it. I have been using one for close to a year now. It has been on my heavy recoiling Webley Patriot and keeps on going.
The optics are well above average for the money, it holds zero and the mil-dot is reasonable in low light. That is all I can ask of a hard use vermin killer optic.

Thanks guys.  I am putting this on my AR build that I completed last night.  Time for the optics.

Isn't that an air rifle?  Hard recoiling?  I hope it will hold up to a .223 recoil!!!

Anyone have one on an AR?

LOL  air rifles are really hard on optics as they recoil in 2 directions rather than just one. More scopes fail on heavy spring guns than do on traditional firearms. "it's not something you'd think about till you see your cross hairs go all higgidy piggidty, or worse yet, just snap"

It'll be plenty fine on a .223 Thunbs Up

No problem Doug.

I've got the Gammo .22 air shotgun for pest control. It's really a little monster. stays just subsonic and prints a 12 inch group at 10 yards. It's a smoothbore so accuracy with regular pellets is not great but with the shotshells it does what it was designed to do.

I got mine from Sportsman's guide and after my discounts and a coupon it was <$200 to the door.

SWFA!  Now what is the status?  Any update.  May has turned to June.  :-(  The AR custom project needs this scope really bad.  The range up here opens this weekend!Evil Black Rifle

it's gonna be awhile before I can mount this puppy on my AR , oh well , it's such a good deal that I can wait a little longer to replace the really really crappy " Cabelas 3-12x40"
