Here offical message we are putting out.   We are not the only company effected by the sale of counterfeit products but it upsets me as its personal.   Leupold and Aimpoint copies are being sold at the same sites in Hong Kong.  Just a bit of info of value for you guys.

TO ALL SHOOTERS  PLEASE TAKE NOTICE:

Millett has seen recently counterfeit scope being sold under our name from Hong Kong.  Most are being sold through Ebay.   These scopes are of a poor quality and are not representative of  the product Millett is producing.   We are working to have this stopped and have made claims on our trademark and corporate name.

Until we can stop the sales

Buyer beware!!!!! We as a company have never sold our product thru Hong Kong.  There is no warranty from Millett on these scopes.  We have received several from unsuspecting shooters that were surprised to learn their scope is not covered when they returned it to millet.   All genuine Millett scope have serial numbers recorded here for quality control. Counterfeit Millett scopes may or may not have serial numbers, but if the numbers are not listed in our records they are not Millett scopes sold by Millett.

If you purchase one of the scopes for sale from Hong Kong you may save a little but you are getting a product of very poor quality, paying high shipping costs and if it fails you are out.

If you have already purchased one of the scope from Hong Kong  you have a counterfeit scope and please do not send it to Millett for repair.

Millett is concerned about quality and will honor our life time warranty for all genuine Millett scopes.

HI

The factory is in china, do not know which one for sure.  They are copying Leupold and Aimpoint that I have seen.   We are trying to get it stopped by Ebay.  IF you see a scope being sold on Ebay from Hong Kong its a copy for sure.  They are charging $30 shipping along with the sale price so you do not save much and you get junk.

Thanks

Steve

Where are the "real" Millet Scopes made?

Is there any other marks other than serial number?

If not... there sure needs to be another type of mark/s.

Who would want to copy Millet?  I didn't know that chinese scopes were being counterfeited by other chinese scopes.

Rabbitwhacker,

where do you think the parts that make up the computer you just typed "DONT BUY ANYTHING MADE IN CHIAN"  was made?

I bet that out of everything you own over 25% of it is made in china. I am not saying that chinese scopes are the best just that I think you should think a little bit more before you say someting like that.

Steve was just trying to let people know that there is a company that is using the millet name and selling junk.

even Leupold has some of their stuff made in china.
