It's garbage and a huge, cynical ripoff.

I have not talked with anyone who did not think that the Counter Sniper scopes were junk.
We would be happy to help you with some suggestions for a scope. Just let us know your budget, what you will be using it for and min and max ranges you are going to be shooting at. |

Jon is just being polite. These scopes give good headaches to anyone that uses them longer than 5 minutes. |

These are not good scope, at all. They are pure marketing. They are also not government over-runs. To date, I am ware of no government contracts awarded to CounterSniper optics, and I know of no agencies that use their optics. M14s are difficult to scope, are you planning to mount over the action or forward? I have some experience in mounts scopes on both a SOCOM and a loaded M1A, with varying degrees of success. First advice, above all other advice: don't buy a Countersniper! If it is to be a patrol gun, I would mount a red dot, very fast on target, good out to about 300 yards (in my experience.) I'd look at Aimpoint, anything from M3 or up. |
