Contest Rules / Info On Entering

SWFA PHOTO CONTEST RULES

The rules are very easy making it possible for anyone to win. Basically, you take a picture that includes a product you bought from SWFA and submit it along with a story. The best picture and story combination wins the Grand Prize (one of $20,000.00 worth of prizes). Pictures can be anything from hunts, vacation, sporting events, military, races, etc. It does not matter as long as the product you purchased from SWFA is in the picture and has relevance in the story.

• You must be in our data base as purchasing the product on or after September 1, 2003 to be eligible.
• Photo/Story Contests open only to U.S. residents.
• To enter, submit photos and story of SWFA PHOTO CONTEST along with a fully completed and signed Photos/Story Entry Form either by mailing it to SWFA, Inc. PHOTO CONTEST 420 Century Way, #100, Red Oak, Texas 75154 or by submitting it electronically on-line at RifleScopes.com.
• All entries must be received not later than January 31, 2006 . Eligible finalist will be chosen by February 1, 2006 and contacted by e-mail.
• Finalist will be placed on a special "Finalists Page" within SWFA's web site where the public will vote on the best Photo/Story from February 1-29, 2006. Winner's place in the contest will be determined by how many votes their entry receives. Most votes will receive the grand prize and all places will be determined numerically based on the amount of votes received.
• Contests organized by the Southwestern Firearms, Inc. ("SWFA"), as sponsor of SWFA Photo Contest. Participation in contest constitutes full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these rules. Noncompliance with these rules shall be grounds for disqualifications. SWFA reserves the right to certify all entries.
• No purchase necessary to enter to win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

You can enter the contest as many times as you like but individuals may only win once in the Photo contest and will not be awarded multiple prizes within the contest. Previous submissions ineligible. 

Decisions of SWFA judges are final. Photos and stories will not be returned and become the property of SWFA . Contest entrants grant SWFA the right to edit, re-size, modify, adapt, reproduce, publish, post and otherwise use, or to permit third parties to use, and entry, in whole or in part, separately or together with the name of the contest entrants. Photos and stories submitted may be used throughout the year in SWFA publications, or SWFA's Web sites or in third party materials and or web sites. 

Story entries must reflect entrant's own experiences. Photo entrants must have taken the photo, or be the person in the photo and have permission from the photographer to enter the contest. Contest entrants must label the back of each photo and story with their name and the date their photos or stories were created. 

Prizes will be issued to qualified winners by SWFA. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash value, substituted or exchange by the winner; however, SWFA reserves the right to substitute prizes as necessary. Federal, state and /or local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

For a list of winners, send a self-addresses stamped envelope by April 14, 2006 to : "Winners Names", SWFA Photo Contest, 420 Century Way, #100, Red Oak, Texas 75154. 

Entrants agree to release and hold SWFA, its affiliates, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and contractors harmless from and against any and all claims and liabilities of any kind arising in any manner from their participation in the contest or acceptance and/or use of prizes. 

SWFA shall not be responsible or liable for : (i)late, list delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible entries; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii)failed, incomplete, garbled,or delayed transmissions of any kind; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the reasonable control of SWFA that may cause the contests to be disrupted or corrupted: or (v) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the contest. SWFA reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contests at any time for any reason with out notice. 

SWFA reserves the right to make changes to these rules and procedures at any time for any reason with out notice.
