Can't wait ! I am interested in how thick the reticle is for low light hunting and the overall low light performance of that exact scope!

Charles, I'm looking forward to your literature on this.

I was very excited about it, and still am. This is a really nice scope for the money.

Can't wait for your review.

I have used Zeiss scopes with their #20 reticle and find it adequate for low light hunting on Whitetails due to the contrast of the etched black reticle on tan hide.

For me, hunting in Texas for deer stops at 30 minutes past sundown.

With the 42mm objective I expect to have to back off the magnification to be useable at last light.

What appeals to me about this scope is the magnification range, glass and turret setup.
I have ran a similar turret before from Zeiss and like it because I get the benefits of being able to dial in my yardage but still have a low profile turret with both a zero stop and being able to lock it in place

Would I prefer a FFP and mil based turret?
Sure, but I can certainly live with SFP as I am not using a reticle to measure or compensate for yardage.
MOA? Sure, I just make a cheat sheet and tape it to the rifle.

As this will go on a flat shooting 280AI with a 250 yard zero means that I can hold point blank out to 300 which 95% of my hunting takes place but I have the capability to shoot out to 500 with confidence.

That sounds like an awesome set up ! Is this plex about the same as the Conquest plex? Seems like I read it was thinner on the HD5??

I noticed the eye piece is pretty big, any bolt interference problems?

Sounds like a promising scope.  Would like to give one a try with their ASV+ turrets, if only Zeiss would offer a reticle with windage hold off hash marks on the horizontal crosshair...
