Within the "reloading & ballistics" section under the,,, "imr 4007-wsm report",,,, thread, I am gratified to note, that compact bolt rifles (20" or less in barrel lengths) have been "tagged" on the OT forum by "Mojo" and maybe others as the,,,,"Squeezer Specials."......Probably as much or more so as anyone here on the OT, it is no secret that I am a huge compact rifle fan and as a result, own two rifles, both with 20" or less in barrel length!...... I will gladly and humbly accept (with the forum`s consensus or permission of course), my user name`s nickname "Squeezer" as a nickname for the compact rifles!!.Embarrased...Oh%20Yea%20Baby........Great with me, that if so, my nickname on this OT forum, is associated with some very good company with the following rifles and be considered as "Squeezer Specials"....................Remington`s new VTR Tactical and the various calibers available in the Model 7`s with the 20" tubes..............Weatherby`s Vanguard youth version in 20"..................Browning`s A-bolt Micro Hunter available with various calibers in the 20"..................Tikka`s T3 Big Bore Synthetic with a 19" er............Howa`s new Ranchland Compacts, Axiom varmiters, youth version rifles, and the new M1500 in the 375 Ruger, all with 20" barrels!!..............The Ruger Intl`s with their 18" barrels, the Ruger Mk2 Ultralite 20"ers, Ruger MK2 compacts w/16.5" barrels, the new 300 & 338 RCM rifles with their 20" barrels, the .375 Ruger Alaskan and the Ruger Frontiers with the 16.5" ers!!...........There could be more in other bolt actions out there, but the above alone make for great company as "Squeezer Specials".................Don`t want to forget about you lever boys with your compact blasters of 20" or less either!!.Excellent..............Thanks guys!Smile   Embarrased

Not sure who the distributor was.  Took a long time to get it through a small local gun shop here in Ontario.  Have a couple of boxes of Hornady 300 grain HP/XTP to try.  Handles well, should be a sweet heart in the bush.

.....................You`ll find some info and pics on your rifle on the,,, www.legacysports.com,,, website. Download the `08 catalog then scroll down..............Also, go to,,,,, gunblast.com,,,click on "archives" and keep scrolling down. If I remember correctly, one of the Quinn boys did a test on that same 454 Casull carbine. I don`t remember the date, but you`ll find it. They liked that rifle!..........Legacy will also distribute the Howa M1500 in .375 Ruger (N/A yet), that I`m getting later this year, with the 20" tube of course!!

...........From the "gunblast" homepage, go all the way down to Dec. 15, `02 in the "archives" section! It`s by Paco Kelly! I knew that I saw it in there somewhere!........They also have a later article on the same rifle in the 480 Ruger!

A Colt AR-15 in 7.62x39,  7mm/08 model 70 compact, A Marlin 336 SS, a H&R 30/30 , and a H&R 223 Youth ( for my kids to get a step up from a .22 ). Absent is my Win 94 ( my Dad borrowed it )  and T/C 45/70 ( wearing a 12ga smoothbore barrel for trap this weekend )...
