I gave myself a present at Christmas time by trading a new Browning Buckmark for an 8" barreled Colt Trooper MKIII in 22 that had approximately 200 rds down the pipe.
Well... Sunday I went to a local gun show and managed to turn a stainless Redhawk 44 magnum in to a nice, still with box, Colt Trooper MKIII in 357 magnum, 6" model.
I know these are not as popular as the Pythons, but they look nice, shoot sweet, and are welcome to reside in my safe for the long term. Finding these two, for what I had in the trading fodder only made the the deals sweeter. Now maybe I should look for a 38 special and 22 magnum model, I think it would be nice to have a whole team. I must ad that my wife is a very understanding lady, and was with me at Sunday's show, encouraging me to do the deal,as she knew I really wanted that 357. She always says as long as I do't take up heavy drinking, smoking, or get behind in the bills, she supports my " hobby". Enjoy the pics.... Mods, if you can resize the pics, please do so.

Beautiful, I for one am sorry to see the auto displace the revolver as it has in the last few years. There will never be auto's that can compete with the top of the line Colts and S&W's for class.

I have to partially disagree.  I think the Colt 1911 and the Mauser C96 (the legendary Broomhandle) both have that much class.  But I don't think that you could find many others to measure up, especially as you look at newer models.
