What do you gentlemen recommend for a rifle cheekpad?

I moved this topic to a more appropriate subject.  I just can't find any relationship to riflescopes...

Hell I couldn't find a proper sub, sub, category either. Everyone's got so many specific categories on their forums. Guess I'll have to go look for a Cheeckpad forum. Whacko

I use a pad from BlackHawk The only problem I have is the strap will hang up on the back bag. This becomes a problem when shooting in matchs that you can use shooting rest in. For just shooting at the range and hunting I really like it.

good luck

I have used blackhawk in the past as well with good results.  Secures very good to the stock.

That might not be a bad idea.  There is inconsistent but sometimes heavy interest in cheekpads...

Eagle Industries cheekpad is a pretty good way to go.

Recently I have started using the little BALS bean bag which attaches to the rifle:

I think next I will buy the one integral with the stock pack:

The MKII is in stock but can't find the eagle pads. Backordered even through Eagle for over 6 months. Wow.

I've been looking for the Eagle Industries Stock Pack for a few weeks now, no one seems to have them in stock.

I have installed Karsten's on a few guns, very good cheek pieces.

I also use stock packs on a few.

A stock pack will move your cheek up "a little", a Karsten can move your cheek up "allot", depends on which is needed.
