I'm looking for a cheek pad for my rifle. Not so much for the re-coil but to bring my eye up a little. Been looking online but everything has mixed reviews. Anyone use one?

I had the same problem... And justifing the price of them. I ended up cutting a mouse pad into strips and gluing them to my rifle stock. It works for both raising my eye line and for recoil mitigation.

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

If you are looking for a very good cheek piece,go to sniper hide sight & check out the Karsten cheeck piece that was reviewed 9/12/07.
I have them on 3 rifles. They are very flexable, easy to set up & very reasonable.
If I broke any advertising SWFA rules I do apologize,I just wasn't quite sure about cheek welds!Couldn't find any info on fixed cheekpads!
