Looks like an off shoot of IOR to me.

The turrets on the day optic looks like an IOR for sure.

Yes, they look similar to IOR , but Zrak is an old company-they make optics for a very long time. They have same ex-communist background-maybe that is where similarity comes from.

How much do these scopes cost?  Are they available through any US rtailers? or any retailers who ship to US?

Here in Croatia their fixed power scopes cost about 200-300$. I haven't seen their variables, but fixed powers are great. They say on their site they export to USA,you shold e-mail them for some info.

P.S- they also make E.A.W. style scope mounts.

I am primarily interested in their fixed power models.  To be more exact I'd be curious about their 2.5x14 model.

I'll e-mail them.

Thanks.

Of course I am interested.  If there is a scope manufacturer out there that I know nothing about, that's just plain wrong and has to be corrected at the earliest opportunity

Besides, as the market moves toward mounting Hubble telescopes on rifles, it is nice to see someone make a 2.5x scope (other than Weaver and Leupold, that is).

Hello Javali

Maybe you've seen "Mauser" scope in Kettner or Frankonia catalogue, a friend of mine from Bosnia talked with their manager few months ago, and he said that they use Zeiss glass, and that they export 99,9% of their products. As I told earlier I saw some of their fixed powers (they are around for a long time, and have a good rep in this parts of the world)in stores around here, and some of mine friends use them and they are very satisfied, but I never saw their variables-and they seem vey, very interesting.

PS they made scopes for M76 sniper rifle also, and I saw many of them- good and very rugged military scopes-they have radiation sign on their side-little scary-I think it is tritium reticle or something.

Cheers

I know the Kettner and Frankonia catalogues and they do not have any Mauser scope.

Kettner have Luger scopes made by Tasco and Kettner made by Docter.
Frankonia have Norconia (Made in China, i think).

I wasn't thinking about Luger, Kettner or Frankkonia scopes-there is just one "Mauser" scope (6x42 I think) offered .I think it is located on the same page as the mauser rifles.I don't remember if it is in this or last years catalogue. I'll try to dig it out.

Cheers
