Any body have any experience input on Celestron optics? I knew they make stargazing scopes but saw a 20-60x80mm spotting scope in coated and ED on a website for a fair price.

They are very competitive in terms of quality/price. You get a lot of scope for your money. |

To follow up on this old post, I bought the Celestron and use it for High power match shooting. I love it. I can see .22 holes in the black at 200 yards and in the white at 300. Pretty good quality for not a lot of money.

Thank you for letting us know. If you don't drop it, your scope will serve you well for a long time. Cabelas snug rug is an amazing case for spotting scopes. I put an egg inside a ziploc bag and inside one of those cases, and i could not break the egg by kicking and dropping the case. That's where my Swarovski lives. Try using the zoom at half power. You might actually see better and bullet holes further away than with the zoom at full power. |
