Hmmm... I dont see a weapon of any kind, and the hunter looks to be a pretty good sized ole boy, so, I'm thinking...If he beat that elk down, that cat might want to think it over!  seriously though, great pic Bud!

Been tracked by them cats a couple times and even road the horse under a tree one was in once.  Never even knew it was up there till I came back down the trail and saw the tracks.  Bears don't scare me as much as cats because of how sneaky they are.  But I would love to shoot one at some point.  Always carry a tag for them.

I'd be willing to bet any amount of money it's fake and the cat was Photoshopped in.  Notice the cat appears to be totally lit up with very little shadow on any part of his body, yet he's back in the shadows of the pic, slightly outside of the flash radius.
