Has anyone used the Caldwell bipods? How do they compare to the Harris bipods?  Or the Stoney Point for that matter.

There is a reason harris is the one others are compared too, i'll leave it at that.  I've tried a stoney point because i got one on a used gun once, don't waste time on others, get the harris

I would give Atlas and Sinclair a look... of course, they are significantly more expensive than Harris.  Harris is very good, not the best.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

I looked at the Sinclair, and all I can say is WOW.  That is one impressive bipod.  I knew they made good reloading equipment but not bipods.  Of course that is the quality I would expect from them.  Of course I dont think I could ever get the money's worth out of that.  Thanks for the info.

Have both Caldwell and Harris.  Caldwell is comparable in build to Harris.  Does not have all the features the Harris offers but I would not call it flimsy.

If not secured properly, yes there is play.  Without cutting the legs to measure steel thickness, they appear to be the same.  The mounting bracket that the legs attach to is very similar in build quality.  So far mine has survived.  Mileage will vary from user to user.
