Took this off of a traded gun.  My son wants to put this on a Marlin semi-auto .22, but it looks a bit tall to me; certainly will need taller rings.

Anyone with any experience with these?  Will they survive on a semi-auto?  Is 6x nuts on a .22?  Will the added height just make for a parallax nightmare?

I don't know anything about the Pine Ridge scopes......but I have a 6X scope on my .22.  I am not planning to shoot racing chipmunks or squirrels with it, so I have plenty of time to sit down and take a rest before shooting.  So, in that case, I like a 6X because I can see targets better at 100 yards.  I always liked 4X scopes, but I see a little better these days with a Six.    Big Grin

I have used a Pine Ridge tactical style scope on a .17 HMR with a BDC elevation knob. Seems to track well, but not top end glass for sure. It worked well for what I used it for, which wasn't much. They seem ok for the money, but I am looking for something else.

Thanks for the input.  I will mount it and let him decide if suits him.
