I've got both of these and after looking through them both at the same target, my very quick conclusion is that they are very close, but the Meopta is sharper. Can't go wrong with either though. I'll post more after I take them hunting this year.

Yeah I was just doing some more comparing. They are both good binos. I reinforced my opinion the the Meoptas are sharper. I'm gonna go back out there at sunset to have another look.

The Meoptas performed better in low light as well. Both are good, but there was more obvious detail with the Meoptas. Probably had something to do with the extra magnification, but since the Minox have the bigger objective I thought it would be closer.

i havent tested my meopta 10x42 in lowlight yet but glad to hear they beat an 8x56. love these binos
