Well, I am ready to buy and cant decide between the Millet TRS-1, the Gen 4 Wotac, or the Hawke Sidwinder Tactical 4.5x14.  I have not seen many reviews of the Hawke.  Thoughts, thx

Welcome

I have a couple of Millets and like them. No experience with the Hawke scopes, but others here have said they are not bad.

The Millett is a decent scope. I am opposed to WOTAC. Hawke as NeilBilly said isn't one I have experience with, but others here seem to think they are OK for the money.

What don't you like about the Wotacs and would you choose a Millet over a Hawke?

Millett is a Bushnell family product. I like Bushnell. I own a Millett TRS-1. It is as advertised in every sense. There are better out there, but at the price range, it is a good value. There are reports that Milletts have had some issues with quality as of late though. They stand behind the product though, and if you get a bad one they will replace it.
I have heard thet the Hawke is OK, not great, and just a tad underwhelming, but still a decent optic at the price point.

Hi there i am new to this forum, but have been useing scopes for long range for about 36 yrs. Ihave noticed that alot of people seem to like bushnel scopes, i think they are not to bad the only thing with that company is you never know who they contract their scopes to, mrs mcmillian did some scopes for them at one time with japanese glass then busnel skipped over to a sub producer making the same scope with out mentioning it to anyone also a few yrs ago they got pretty shady making contact lens, they used the same contact lens for differnt length of time you could wear them they just changed the cleaning directions, but they did get caught and it cost them, i find them hard to trust, i hope after just purchaseing millett scopes they dont lower the quality of them. I dont think the make a bad scope for the money but you have to keep an eye on them
