Does Bushnell have any other decent scopes besides the Elites (3200 & 4200)???

I was at the range today because I had a day off from work and weekdays they don't have any competitions so you can shoot whatever. A guy rolled up and started shooting a rifle with a Bushnell Legend mounted on it. I asked him about it and he reckons it's alright (he also owns rifles with the Elites mounted on them).

Of course the 3200,4200,and 6500 are the top of the line models.  The Legend and Trophy series are considered to be among the top in the mid level scopes.  I don't have alot of experience with the lower end series Bushnells but will say I just sent back a Dusk to Dawn Illuminated model for a friend that only lasted 7rds on a hvy bbl'd .308 Handi-Rifle.

just got my 1022 rifle all weather with black synthetic stock.... recently i got a Bushnell 3-9X40 scope. I am just wonderin if its an original bushnell or an airsos if youft stuff only. Does Bushnell have a model that has a green leaves design? the glass is clear but the reticle is kinda thick.

guys if only i could confirm if Bushy has released such model like that i guess i am good with. there is no way i could check cos i bought it without the box.

thanks

I've got a phil made legend and optics are said to be comparable to the 3200 and i somehow agree when putting them side by side. They are said to have the same coatings minus the rainguard on the legend. I kinda doubt it though since 3200s are made in japan while the legend line is made in the philippines. I have mine on a semi auto hunting rig which gets pretty banged up in the back of a pickup when traveling on bumpy roads, rig is semi protected in a soft case though but it still gets banged up hard. Never lost zero so far and i hunt with it a lot as it is my route shooting gun. So far has proven very durable.
Compared to the 3200 though in terms of build, definitely the 3200 is better with regards to workmanship, turrets, smoothness of adjustments, box, etc...

The Trophy lines are considered to be pretty darn good for the money, from everything I hear...

I have not seen Legend scopes for a little while, but a couple of years back I looked at them and thought they were pretty good for the money.

Bushnell Trophy scopes I have a little more recent experience with and they also seemed good.

Lower end scopes are, in my opinion, a bit of a hit and miss, but that is what you would expect in that price range.

The Bushnell Banners that were made in Japan back in the 90's are very good scopes. The Legend I have mounted on a M70 Winchester 300 WSM has been very reliable, crystal clear and cost around $130 four years and has taken hundreds of rounds and never failed.

The Bushnell Legend has Rainguard...

Wow that's good to know. Tnx for that info. Got mine straight from the phil factory without a box that's why i did not know. I've heard but have not confirmed that the legend line is now made in china, i hope that this info about the rain guard is not the china made legend if there ever is one.

I've just heard from a friend who knows someone from the phil kenko plant. Apparently the legend line is no longer made there. No wonder they were able to keep the price the same this time even with the rain guard as they are now made in china.Shocked
