Bushnell's Elite binocs v.s. ARC Fusion 1 Mile LRF

I have a pair of Bushnell's 10 x 42 Fusion 1 Mile ARC laser rangefinder binoculars.
The Bushnell customer service rep checked with his optics data and says they have the same glass as their top line Elite binoculars. From viewing the new Elite E2 binoculars outdoors I'd say the company rep was correct. Good glass but not great.
My 2005 Pentax DCF WP 8 x 42 binoculars seem to have a bit better color rendition. They were Pentax's best at the time but, again, not ED glass as they now offer.
Anyone have a pair of Bushnell; Elite E2 binoculars or Fusion 1 Mile ARC binoculars?
There are no comfortable packs - some are merely less uncomfortable than others.
