Do you think a Bushnell Trophy scope will withstand the recoil of 454 Casull? Was thinking of mounting one on my Ruger Super Redhawk.
Thanks,
Mike

I put a cheap scope on a .454 once and it only took about 2 shots and eyepiece came flying backwards off the gun. I would spend the extra and get a decent one or you will be spending again.

I have a buddy who has a 2-6 trophy mounted on a .480 ruger and its held up so far, a couple of hundred rounds, but you never know. |
