I have acquired a Bushnell Scope Chief 3x9-42 with command post reticle. The post has a control lever under the windage adj. cap. It is spring loaded when the post is in focus.  One of the problems is that the post is slightly to the right of center . How do I recenter the post? The other problem is, when the "arm"(control lever) is positioned down in the spring loaded pos., the windage cap will not screw all the way down because the threads inside the cap are dragging on the lever. Anybody ever seen one of these, and if so any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

There has been a little talk about these models around here lately. One of the posters engineered a mount for a gun and discovered that a magnet actuated his post.
It made for an interesting discussion. Maybe if you PM the original poster he can help.

Good luck and welcome to O.T.,
