I am looking at purchasing new binos and rangefinder. I see now that Bushnell has the fusion 1600 binos with integral rangefinder. Does anyone have any experience with these. I have read only a few reviews, most like them and say the optics are good . Some have said that the rangefinder is not bright enough during the day. Any help would be appreciated!

snipershide forum has a pretty long thread on those fusions.  They were very impressed.

I got a pair of these last week, and while I haven't had them out in the field yet, my initial impression after looking around the neighborhood at various times is that they are pretty darn nice.  Yes, the display could maybe stand to be a bit brighter for bright sunny days, but it is very usable and I don't see it as a problem, at least for me, since I mainly hunt in the rain here in Washington.  The glass is very good, clear with good sharpness, though they do have a very slight color tint to them, kind of bluish-greenish.  Once again, not an issue, at least for me as a hunting binocular.  I hope to get out sometime next week and compare them with my old style Swaro 7x42 SLC binos.  I'm hoping to be able to replace both my SLCs and a Bushnell Elite 1500 ARC rangefinder with the Fusions.  Right now it looks good.  And, they have the proven RainGuard coating as well.
