I have posted several ones,I wanted share owners experience to compare optics quality, about bushnell elite, sightron sIII and burris black diamond. I have a Zeiss COnquest 3-20X 44 and a nikon monarch 2,5-10X 50.Today I have received a packet, my new bushnell elite 4,5-30X 50, I m so deceived for it!!
Is this the top one in Bushnell trademade? Top quality ?? UPSSS
I don t think 6500 could be compared to my Conquest. It starts to downgrade contrast and bright to 16X till 30X . At top magnification the view is very poor.
I dont recomend buy this one. 6500 is hard and compact, big range magnification and excellent mildot turrets (my version is tactical)
But optics quality isn t a top model ,or maybe Bushnell isn t all I could remember of Baushch&Lomb
I m very sad with my new Bushnell.I would recomend a Sightron SIII ,no so far in price, even a Burris diamond

I could believe that once you get around 16x that the optics will start to darken and get piss poor. Your exit pupil will get down to 3mm and that is not enough to keep things bright. Plus even the best glass and coatings will start to have problems at high magnifications.
That is one of the reasons why most of us do not recommend going beyond 16-18x for most uses. |

I'm surprised I have a 4200 6-24x50 that's clear and bright at 24x, the same with my 6-24x42 Weavers, and even my Simmons ProHunter 6-24x44 is clear and bright enough for daylight target shooting at 24x. But you will always lose some brightness when you get to high magnification.

"No soup for you, 1 year!" He said he proved it, man, what's your problem, there's proving that's been done. In all seriousness, what was the proving? [Forgot quotation marks around the quote.
