I can't find any eye relief data on the 15-45x60, 20-60x70, or the 20-60x80 Elite spotters - if the older Bausch & Lomb 15-45x60 has a short eye reilf, I assume the other Elite offerings are a bit short for eyeglass wearers too? Thanks.

The 60mm and 70mm scopes use totally different eyepieces than the 80mm models so; your assumption would not necessarily hold true.

The 80mm Elite is listed as having 18mm of ER.

The 60mm Elite is listed as having 15mm of ER.

I am quite sure these measurements were taken at their lowest respective magnifications as I know for a fact that neither scope maintains a constant level of ER throughout their magnification ranges.

I don't know about the 70mm model, but I would guess that it is more similar to the 60mm Elite as they at least appear to be using identical eyepieces.

Thanks lucznick, I couldn't find any eye relief info on the websites I checked. I know you have the 20-60x80 Elite, and you stated you've used it on a car window mount, but at nearly 3 pounds and 17" is it really as big as it sounds?  That would seem like a monster to tote around. Thanks.

Yes, it really is as big and as heavy as it sounds.  I do not "tote around" this scope.  It is used from my home or when I am in a vehicle, at a base camp, etc. where I don't have to do very much walking.

For "toting around" I have a Leupold 15-30x50 Golden Ring Compact.

Between the two I have pretty much every contingency covered.  I would like to get the 22x WA eyepiece for the Elite which I think would provide better digiscoping results, but they are hard to find and I don't have any money right now anyway.

lucznik, does this particular elite (80mm) accept any 1.25mm eyepiece?  Thanks.

No, it does not.  If it did, that would solve all my "problems."

The 80mm Elite only accepts propietary Bushnell (or B&L) branded eyepieces.  There are 3 that are "available."
  1. The 20-60x eyepiece that comes with the scope
  2. A 22x WA eyepiece
  3. A 30x WA eyepiece

These last two are very difficult to find.  I'm not even totally sure if Bushnell is still producing them.
