I just found one of these in pretty decent condition and decided to give it a try on a 375 H&H.  Seemed to have pretty good eye relief and the FOV was okay just looking through it.  It's replacing a Leupold 2-7 VXII so it should be a littel better than that one I'm thinking.   Figured I see if anybody has the specs handy so I could know what Bushnell actually lists on it.  Sure would appreciate it.

I have one with the Firefly reticle. I like it a lot. I sold one with the standard duplex becase the reticle reflected a lot of light and was silverish and hard to see .

i had my 4200 ( a 3x9) on my .375H&H last season and it did fine. i have since switched to a 2x7x32 vortex viper. i think your choice will work well.

Thanks for the specs and now I'm wondering if that's enough eye relief.  When I held this one up and looked through it I thought it had a lot more relief than that.  I wouldn't mind going higher power but wanted teh field of view too, just in case something is up close and personal.  I'll give it a try and see how it works out.  The clarity and brightness of the scope is really fantastic I feel with replacing a VXII I think this is a pretty decent upgrade.  Hope it holds together!

Thanks again.

This one is a B&L 4200 (not sure if it's different than the Bushnell version) and it sure seems to me that it has more eye relief that 3.3 inches but either way I think you are right, it will work just fine and that is a major league FOV on 1.5 power so that will be great.  I had a 1.5-5x20 Vari X III on it before but really wanted just a tad more top end power so that's why I went to the 2x7.  I just for some reason never really trusted it though and I think the one will be about the perfect answer.
