I just purchased this scope for my neighbors 22-250, with a firefly reticle. He currently has a old 4X warne scope and wanted something with a little better power. Did i make a good purchase, or do i need a more powerful scope. He uses it mostly for coyotes and whitetails. Also whats your thoughts on the new firefly reticle? Thanks in advance

I'm not too hep on them ..... firefly rectiles ..... pain in the butt having to shine a flashlight in them .... plus just what I'd never want to have to do under some circumstances .

The scope is fine for a walking and hunting varmit gun. Most of us like the 4200 series given the reasonable price differance between the two because it is more clear.
