I have the Bausch & Lomb Elite 4000 and 4200, with AOs and while not the exact same scope, they are quite nice for the money. The 4000 is 6-24x40 fineplex and the 4200 is the 4-16x50 fineplex. These are identical to the Bushnell offerings and made by Light Optical Works out of Japan.
Glass is nice and crisp. Tubes are hand hammered 30% titanium alloy one piece affairs. Controls are robust and firm. Mine have caps, so that might be a bummer for some, but all in all, for the prices I paid, no problems. The 4000 is on a Savage #12 VLP in 22-250 and the 4200 is on a Rem Sendero in 7 rem mag.
I'm sure that you'd be happy with the new side focus.
Take care, Chris
