I am looking for a scope for a Colt hbar Elite for target shooting and varmint hunting.  I would like to know which scope has the edge on quality.  I'm looking at a Elite 4200 6x24 or a SII 6x24.  Any info would be great.

Elite 4200 glass is a little better.  Sightron has a larger adjustment range.

Both are good scopes.  You can also add Burris Signature Select to the mix.  When I was picking a scope for my varminter I ended up narrowing it dowsn to Elite 4200 and Burris Signature Select.  I ended up going with Elite 4200 due to marginally better glass and lower cost.

Elite 4200 or Burris SS

It comes down to the reticle

Mil-Dot or Ballistic Mil-dot

your preferance.

Forgot to mention 4200 has a side focus model now in 6-24 if the reticle is not important.
