I am debating which of these following pair binocular I should get. Can anyone give me some suggestions?
- Bushnell 10x50mm Powerview
- Nikon 10x42mm Auction A211

After a bit of research, I see the Bushnell specs but why are these are cheaper.
10x50mm has wider field-of view and lighter weight.
But the 10x42mm has a better review.
I am planning to get one of these pair for bird and star watching since the 8x25mm is handy but they don't do the job right.

Please help me out with which pair I should get. Thanks.

No one ever posted a reply, so I am. The Bushnell powerview uses BK7 glass, the aculon uses Bak4. The Nikon is a much better optic all around. I currently have the Aculon 10x42. I returned the Bushnell.   No comparison once you start using binoculars seriously. Also, Nikon has a no fault warranty on all their optics. They'll repair them no matter what caused them to break. Bushnell has that warranty too but only on the trophy and above models (which, by the way, are good binoculars). Now if you want a superb binocular get a Nikon Monarch 5 or Bushnell Legend L. They both use ED glass and are wonderful. If you can try them, you'll see why they are worth the extra. I have the Legend L.
