I know that I just ran you guys through the ringer on scope and reticle choices. And I had decided on the leupold VX-III. But something interesting
happened to me in the process of purchasing. I had the oppurtunity to look at the Burris Xtreme Tactical, and fell in love wih it. In my opinion this
scope was so much more brighter than the Leupold. I had never really considered Burris as a scope choice and now am totally impressed with
what I saw. My only hesitation on this particular scope was the 1 MOA elevation clicks and the 1/2 MOA windage. I am sure that this is probably a
good thing in a "Tactical" scope but might be a bit to coarse of an adjustment for Prarie Dog Hunting out to 500yds. On the other hand it does
seem kind of handy in regards to dialing in elevation. The other scope that I was interested in the Burris line was the Black Diamond. But this goes
to the opposite end of the spectrum with 1/8 MOA adjustments.

So any one have any experience with Burris. Is the 1" MOA just to little adjustment for this kind of shooting?

I have the Burris XTR 3-12x50, the glass is breathtaking. I love the FAT crosshairs drawing your eye to the mil dots and illuminated reticle for lowlight. If you are
buying new and have a chance look through the Meopta Meostar in the same price range you should. I'd like to compare one to my Burris but no one carries them.
Leupolds are made 10 minutes from my house and I don't own one, a guy at my church is in the Leupold family but they are still expensive or family members. My
buddies took a tour and said once you see how they make the scopes you will never buy anything else, everything is machined out of solid aluminum, including the gold
ring on the bell, it starts as a solid brass disc. crazy. ..I can't say the same as Ive never seen either Burris' or Leupolds factorys. But I like Burris and my Fullfield II's are
excellent scopes as well. Good luck, buy Burris.
