Has anyone and I mean anyone ever had any bad experiences with Burris XTR rings? What weight do they torque down to?

I think Cheaptrick has some. They have been recommended often however I either use Badger Ordnance or drop back to WARNE which have worked well for me. I do have some Burris Signature rings with the plastic insert and like them very much.

The Burris instructions say 20lbs torque for each of the 6 top screws, & 65 to 100 in/lbs torque for the 1/2" base hex nut. I probably do mine a little less & go by feel. These numbers are also listed as '"recommended torque settings".
