New to the forum here and I did use the search button but I have a pretty specific question.

I recently purchased a Rem 700 Police in 300 win mag that I intend to primarily use for hunting.  My average shot will be 300 yards+.

I'm considering the Burris XTR in 4x12x50, the Black Diamond 6x24x50 or the SS.  I know the prices vary but what is your honest opinion pertaining to clarity/quality. I do intend to get the Ballistic mil-dot recticle.

Thanks

I have never used a Super Sniper, but would like to find one here in SC and try it! But I have experience with Burris and really like them! I wouldn't hesitate to try either Burris that you mentioned! The higher magnification will give you mirage problems if you crank it up, so keep that in mind!

I think the versatility of the Burris being a variable and having the Ballistic Mil Dot makes it a better choice for hunting.
