Recently mounted this scope on my new Ruger Mini-14 Ranch Rifle. It's nice and compact, making it a good match for a short rifle like the Mini. Image quality is very good, almost on a par with my Weavers. The ballistic reticle works pretty well out to 300 yards. This is my first Burris and I'm favorably impressed.

I put a 2-7x26 on my Mzlldr. Great for that application too..
We measure it with a micrometer, mark it with a crayon, and cut it with a chainsaw.
