I recently bought a 8-32x44 Burris Signature Select Scope and mounted it on my Remington 700 Varmit Rifle 22-250 A.I. using Leupold Quick Release Mounts.

I could not get it sighted in because I ran out of adjistment. I called Burris and the Teck told me this happens all the time and that  I have to use Burris Mounts with off set inserts in the rings. They are mailing me a Burris base and ring set free. They are not charging me for the base and rings.

Has anyone experienced this problem?  Thank You   American Flag

 Happens a lot.
The solution they are sending you is a very good system in my experience. I've used it extensively on many rifles with very good results. You really need to understand how to set it up to do it properly the first time, though.

Awesome on them for sending you a free base and rings! That's almost unheard of!

I would center the adjustments on your scope, then use the setup they send you.  It is a great system.  I use them.  The inserts will allow you to do a lot of adjustment before you adjust the scope.  Just be patient when setting it up.  Takes some playing around to get it where you want it.

I have a model 70 with a zeiss on it and I ran into the same issue because the mounting holes for the bases weren't square.  I put on Double Dovetail Burris Signature bases and rings with the offset inserts and it works perfectly, looks great and is rock solid.
