I am putting burris signature rings--- dual dovetail on my win 70
 
with  a leupold 3.5-10x40 vx3 cds scope
 
 
burris mounts or Leupold???

I usually use leupold rings and bases, never had a problem, though I am leaning more toward the DNZ mounts for the future.

 Certainly not.
A unique and useful system, no ring marks on the scope tube- it's a great way to mount a scope ESPECIALLY if you need to make alignment corrections if your rifle's receiver is not drilled in line with the barrel, etc. They hold solid, too.

Check out the EGW or TPS mounts and rings.

I like the looks of those DNZ's...
Just not sure if I want the connecting bar...

Also the tally lightweight one piece are a contender as well...

Any advantages? Disadvantages??
