Actually i have a Swarovski PV-N 3-12x50 4-NK reticle ( illuminated )

For hunting, this scope is a beast !!! The illuminated reticle allow me more than once to take my shot at the very last minutes of the hunting day....

But, I like target shooting, and the reticle of the Swaro is in the 1st focal plan ( magnificient )

At 100Meter it cover the center of the target, canít take a good and accurate shot.

Iím Looking for something else....maybe !!!

The power, 3-12x is fine, but i consider a lot 4-16x

Illuminated reticle, mount in the 2nd focal plan.

I like the TDS-4 off the swarovski...

AO if required .....

I saw a Burris LRS 4-16x44mm With the Bal-Plex...VERY interesting !!!!!!

But i have a doubt about Burris, around here i never heard good stuff about them, maybe they bought the bottom line.

I want to know what you think of this scope ???

And what is youre recommandation ??? other brand ???

I send an email to swarovski, trying to know if they can build ( custom) what i want.

A : Swa, 4-16x50mm , TDS-4 , 2nd focal plan, with an little electro dot in the center of the reticle....

By the way, THX for the great job youre doing !!!

PS : i just received an email from Swarovski, and they proposed me a PV-2:  3-12x50, Illuminated.but the reticule is &?%#%$& junk. but is in the 2nd plan. Close, but no cigar ! And they do not make cutom shop...

The 4-16x50 TDS is in the 2nd focal..and AO..but not illuminated.

Burris answer me: All of there scope are in the 2nd focal plan ( non -magnificient )

By the way...this is for my new Sako 300 WSM

ANYONE ?????

I saw, Leupold VariX3 4.5-14x illuminated duplex..

Leupold Tactical 4.5-14x MRT Illuminated.

NightForce also..

But Only the Leupold VariX-3 have protector cap for the turret.

And he stop at 14X...better than average but like the 16X.

For now i Think it's the best choice.

Any Comments ???????????????
