Im looking for a good scope, a light scope with atleast 10 or 12 magnification. I am looking at the Burris Compact 3-12x32 A/O, the Leupold Rifleman 4-12x40, and maybe a bushnell elite. What is everyones suggestions for a good lightweight/small scope but with good magnification. Thanks

Good, lightweight/small scope at least 10x-12x.  That makes for a pretty short list and it looks like you have already figured that out.

Burris 4-12x32.....$299.95

     11 inches and 16 ounces

Leupold 4-12x40 Rifleman.....$249.95

     12 inches and 13 ounces

The Burris has an adjustable objective and is shorter.  The Leupold has a larger objective and is lighter.

Personally I would opt for the Leupold because it has better eye relief and a larger objective lens (which comes in handy on 12x).

You can also get the Leupold 4-12x40 with an adjustable objective (if you think it is needed) in the VX-II line with better coatings and adjustments.
