Saw a Burris Fullfield 4x40 for sale for $140.00. Is this a good scope for this price compared to the newer Nikon Prostaffs and Buckmasters etc... I dont know how good the optical quality is on the older Burris Fullfields.

I bet it would be a good scope .....especially for that price. Made in Greeley, Colorado back in the old days.

The only 4x40 Burris I remember was the Signature and it was a very good scope. My older 4x28 FF has been on guns up to .375 H&H and just keeps on ticking. It is always available in Talley QD's to do the job on any hunt.
I think it is worth the money. It may be a USA model, too. |
