I'm looking for a scope to top my new .300 WSM Browning A-Bolt rifle.

I'd like to spend under $200, and I think I've narrowed my search to the 3-9x40 Burris Fullfield 2 or the Leupold VX-I 3-9x40.

Mostly the rifle will be used for S. Texas deer hunting, maybe an elk hunt or two.

Anyone using these scopes care to comment or make suggestions?

Thanks!

Phil

Welcome to The OT!!

The FFII would be the better of the two as far as I'm concerned.

I would also consider the Nikon Buckmaster as well.

What Cheaptrick  said for the VXI is over priced for the amount of performance you get.

Cheaptrick is absolutely correct.

If you choose the Burris FFII, you can also get a free spotting scope or binoculars using the special offers on this site.
