ive been doing a lot of reading on here. and what ive come to see is that a lot of hunters who use more expensive scopes on their rifles seem to also own burris ff2.

i came to this after doing a search for minox vs conquest on google. people in other forums, even a couple of threads on this forum. maybe it was just coincidence.

being that im using this scope strictly for hunting how much of a gain would i get using a minox za3 or za5 over a fullfield 2 euro? conditions could be as dark as dusk (without a light for night) and as bright as the sun bouncing off the snow.

I'm not going to suggest which scope to get.... here's my advice, get a good quality scope with a reticle built for low light conditions (like the only below) that you can attach a sun shade to during those "sun bouncing off the snow days". That's basically what I use hunting here in Kali and it just plain works.

It is my belief you would gain a sufficient amount making that step up, or at least a perceivable difference.  Whether or not it is worth the price, well....And as pointed out, clarity is only one aspect, have to look at reticle, other features, etc...
That thing on the left....my old ride, some days I miss her.
