Has anyone here had a problem getting the Fastfire battery cover back on once the battery is installed?
Mine will not go back on no matter what! Is there a trick or special procedure for getting the cover back on? Thanks firstshot

Burris have designed a user unfriendly construction......
Some months ago I was contacted by a friend who had tried to replace the Fastfire battery, he had been at it off and on for a couple of days. I went out on the www and found out that this is a common problem and suggested that he would make sure that: Correct battery was used He should lightly push the battery cap down while trying to "mate the threads", probably in a clock-wise / anti clock-wise fashion. (making sure that the was no cross-threading) After a short while he called and said that the cap was on..... Gerry Atric |
