I am wondering which base would work best on a Winchester Super Grade III .300 WSM. I noticed that Burris makes two different DD bases, a standard length (#410594) and an extended length (#410505). Will both of these bases fit the Model 70 and what would the difference be, (ring spacing)? I would rather not have the bases extend over the bolt area of the receiver so would the standard length be the way to go. The scope will be a Leupold Vari-X 3.5-10x40. I am also going to use Burris Signature rings and want to confirm medium height as the proper choice. Lastly, what is your opinion on the Burris Signature DD ring/mount combination.   Thanks in advance, Samuel
