jsut wanted to give some kudos to burris's cs dept. i bought a new set of rings from swfa and i got them yesterday and i went to mount them and noticed that they didnt fit right, so i sent them an email late last night explaining the issue and they right away today sent me a reply telling me they would be more than happy to take a look at the rings and either alter them or replace them free of charge. so i give burris cs dept a big Super

Aww yes.  The same experience I have always had with them.  I have been saying for a while that their department has been improving.  Keep us updated on how this plays out.

i called swfa this morning and told them i screwed up and ordered the wrong rings for my rifle and they promptly shipped me  the correct ones out this morning so swfa's cs dept did an excellent job as well, which doesnt surprise me at all.

I'm glad you didn't try and alter them, per our conversation.  You would have had two sets of bad rings.  Nice to know companies still care about their products.

It's nice to know how they are to deal with...everyone and I mean EVERYONE makes a lemon from time to time.  Some companys act like it is the customers fault...and sometimes they are correct.  It's always nice when a company realizes who pays their light bill.
