Hi all.

I just joined the site but I come here quite often to check out what is going on. I just purchased a Winchester Model 70 Coyote Lite in .22-250. I was planning on purchasing either the Fullfield II in 6.5x20 or the Signature Select in 4x16. They are pretty close in price. Which would be the better buy? Also, I cannot find a calibration chart for the .22-250 in the ballistic plex models? You would think that for as popular as the .22-250 is, they would have a calibration chart for it. I thought that I once read somewhere that the ballistic plex chart was designed around the .22-250's ballistics. If not, how would one go about finding which lines mean what distance? Thanks.

The manual that comes with the scope is quite detailed and will telll you everything you need to know.  I have not checked their website, but they may have their manual available on line to take a look at.  I own several 3x9 FFIIs and am pleased, one with the ballistic plex, but none of the scopes you mentioned.  I guess it depends what you want to do.  I would be curious to see how useful the optics are at 20 power on the FFII as with the Signiture Select, I am sure they are fine at 16 power.  That would be my major concern with the FFII.  I have not checked, but what are the objective sizes on these scopes?  If you find the 20x power clear without any blurring out and you need the extra power for say, pd hunting, then go for it.  Recoil will not be an issue in your case.  Welcome to the OT.

Owning the 4-16 Sig Select and also owning 2 FFII's, the optics on the Sig Select are defiantly a step up from the FFII's. I have no FFII's in the magnification range your looking at so I cannot comment on the magnification, just the clarity. As Dolphin said, the manual has a pretty exstensive discription on how to use and calibrate the BPlex.

Hope this help,

Rob
