When I got the call this week, I was surprised, as I didn't expect it for a couple of more months.
Joel measured the antlers and he scored 327.
First picture is straight on and the second one is from the side.
For comparison, the whitetail is a 155 class head.
It is big.
Still a surreal memory of taking him with my 20 year old Pearson bow.

Beauty bull Ernie!

Are you going have him entered into P&Y?

You might want to look into one of these to give the mount a little "life":

Thanks for the link!
I have thought about it (P&Y), but that has never been a big deal to me.

Very nice Ernie, it just confirms that even an older tool can be very lethal in skilled hands.  I'm sure this makes the trophy even grander.

Either that or he'll get junior snagged up on the antlers. LOL. Great bull Ernie. Congrats.

Is that bugged and bleached or is that mounted in a plastic skull?
I purchased some of the dermestid beetles and have been doing some euro mounts myself.  Awesome bull and great result!

I would pay $5 just to go on a hunt with you to be a camera man . . . . Maybe even $10. Excellent
