Hello,

I have purchased both a Nikon Buckmasters 3x9x40 and a Bushnell 3200 2x7x32. One will be returned. I would like feedback on which is the better line of scopes. To me, they seem pretty close optically. I also got both for good prices: Buckmasters $134 (store gave it to me at a Prostaff price + another 10% off because they lost the box, etc.; Elite $139 (clearance from a different store). It is also the Firefly model, FYI.

Throwing out the difference in magnification, which is the better overall scope?

Thanks.

Optically they will be real close, but  the Rainguard of the 3200 Elite is enough to be the deal maker ,,

Yeah, I like the Rainguard, but I'm having a hard time getting past the really thick Firefly reticle on the Bushnell.

Keep them both, sooner or later you'll need another scope.

Yes, I would like to do that. However, I would have to listen to my wife complain about it for months.
