I generally have a strong dislike for BSA scopes, but I have heard that Sweet 17 scope actually work OK, and since there is no recoil, durability is not a big issue.

I looked at one briefly and glass was decent for the price range, I never used one in the field.

I have the sweet 17 3x12 and it's not that bad. Granted the clarity of it is not that great but it has held up pretty good. The b.d.c works well. And honestly this thing has held it's zero after being drug around for prairie dogs  for well over a year now.My only problem with it has been that i cant get this thing focused just right for my eyes.

That's the same problem I have with my 3-12.  It just doesn't give me a real clear view, very difficult to get focused.

I have the BSA Sweet 17 6-18X40.  The scope is very accurate when placed on a good shooting gun.  On calm days I can hit clay targets at 200-250 yards.

However there is room for improvement on its clarity and focus abilities.

Excellent scope for plinking or small game/varmit hunting in good light conditions.

All together not bad for the price.

We can't keep them on the shelf and they don't come back. BSA is doing something right.
