Does anyone have one of these scopes? Called Gamo (parent company that owns BSA Optics) and they say;
1. The hunter holdover points don't come with any ballistics references.
2. actual magnification is 1-6 as stated
3. Ok for a muzzleloader
4. Made in China (losing interest somewhat now) retail 160-170 dollars
5. Warranty as good as Leupy's
Should a guy waste his time with this as they could be a really nice scope or just buy another 1-4x20 VX1 Leupy or 1-4x20 Pig Plex Leupy and call it good?

I have my doubts that the warranty is as good a Leupold. Unless they are meaning the printing on the paper.

Folks ain't got a sense of humor no more. They don't laugh they just get sore.
Need to follow the rules. Just hard to determine which set of rules to follow Now the rules have changed again. |

No, their warranty is probably as good as Lueppy's, but they don't have any other Quality Control but the end user. You might have to send a bunch back to find one that works...sorta. It sounds like typical BSA... Long on features, except for the one that counts, which is quality.

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
