I have a Browning Huntmaster A-Bolt II .270, and a Barska Black Hawk™ 6 - 24x60 mm Combat Scope.  The rings were included with the scope, but I'm unable to locate the correct mounting base/bases to add the scope to my rifle.  I've tried Weaver mounts, but the ring clamps are too narrow.  Do I need Simmons, Leupod, or what ???  First day for deer season is 3 weeks away, and I need to sight it in, yet.

Thanks!!

Welcome to The OT!!

I would try calling Barska and ask them. You tried Weaver bases and they wouldn't work either?

Thanks.cheaptrick.
Yes, I have tried the Weaver mounts, but they're too wide.

Thanks for the input, broadfoot.  I think I'm going to return it where I bought it, if I can't get it resolved.
I've bought recently.

Russian beauty?  I thought Barska scopes were made in China.

Too narrow for Weaver bases? Do they have a lug on the bottom to fit a cross-slot in the base? If they don't, I'm thinking that they supplied rings designed for a .22 with a grooved receiver. You should probably start from scratch with the scope, base and rings, although for mounting purposes, there is no reason to abandon the scope as long as you get rings for the correct tube diameter. How well it works once you get it mounted may be quite another story, however.

I'm not gonna dog your scope dp, I can't understand how the rings won't fit the Weaver base, somethings amiss there. Get some new rings. Millett, Weaver, or Burris, Heck you've got alot of choices there. Then save some dough just in case the Barska lets you down.
